Momo

He is a small cat, maybe a foot tall and two and a half feet long with his tail. He used to be very skinny, but now he weighs around 8 pounds. His stomach and chest are covered in pure white fur. His sides are a light brown, the color of the spots on a toasted marshmallow jelly bean. His back is the color of coffee with cream, and it gets gradually darker as it gets closer to his tail. The color of his back runs down in front of his back legs. His paws are the lightest of his points, like cocoa socks that go up to the lowest joint on his legs. His ears, face, and tail are all the same dark chocolate color, almost black but still noticeably brown.  His whiskers are average, not something you would remember about him the first few times you met him. His eyes look like they're a dark brown, but they're actually light blue. His retinas got dislocated after the car crash which caused his pupils to almost always be dilated, unless you shine a light in his eyes or he looks out of a window at the sun. If his eyes a re all the way open you can sometimes catch a glimpse of his irises even in normal lighting. They're a light, pale, blue; like the sky as the sun starts to set.
When he walks around he holds his tail straight up until it curls towards his back at the top. He embodies the idea of slow and steady until he wants something, and then he will stay as close to what he wants for as long as he can. The only exception is if he wants to go outside. He will sit by the door and wait for someone to open it. Once the door starts getting opened he circles around our kitchen counter before trying to go outside. Only, it takes him more time to go around the counter than it takes people to go outside and close the door, so he only gets out when we let him out or through the garage. When he is trying to sneak around he lowers his body so it's just a couple inches above the ground, but his tail stays up, like a friendly fluffy shark-fin. No matter what he's doing, if he's awake his tail is at 90 degrees from his back and the tip curls towards him.
His nails are a pain to cut because he acts like he's being murdered. This struggling has led to him getting quicked (nail is cut too short and it starts bleeding) numerous times. Instead of struggling with him we don't cut his nails very often, so if he is walking down the hall or across a room with a wood floor you can hear him coming. Click click, click click, click click. Like a stealthy mechanical keyboard.
His favorite sitting position is with his front paws in front of him, chest up straight and head looking forwards. He crosses his front paws, and looks very regal while he does it. When he's sleeping he's the opposite. He curls up into a little ball with his front legs tucked in, and his back legs outstretched. His back feet extend past his head and his tail rests right along his back legs. Occasionally he will put his front paw over his nose and eyes, but only if he's sleeping in the sun. The bottom line is that Momo is always peak cuteness. Except for when he wants something.

  1. One of my favorite shows of all time is Avatar the Last Airbender and one of the best animal characters from that show is named Momo. He's a flying lemur (mix of bat and lemur) and the colors of your Momo are almost exactly the same as the Momo in the show. Your Momo seems a lil more elegant than the one in the show tho.

  2. Your cat sounds really nice and soft and I like how you related the colors to food items a lot. I'm very sorry for the car crash incident that occurred but he sounds very happy regardless. Overall, makes me want to have a cat again!
